Selters - the water which became a legend

Selters is one of Germany's best-known premium mineral water brands and one of the oldest branded commodities anywhere in the world. The original, from the springs on the northern slopes of the Taunus, has been drunk for over a thousand years and was the preferred table water of kings and queens. Today, the brand name is so well known that it has become a generic term in much of Germany.

The company

The springs at Selters an der Lahn have produced a mineral water of first-class quality since ancient times, and their waters were renowned throughout the world as early as the close of the 19th century. While Selters is one of the few mineral water brands obtainable throughout the whole of Germany, it is also distributed throughout Europe and even worldwide. State of the art well facilities and regular, painstaking quality controls are a matter of course at the Selters site and ensure that Selters mineral water is one of the purest foodstuffs available.
